MS Teams Notification
LabScale supports sending notifications to MS Teams using webhooks created in the Microsoft Workflows application. To set up integration with MS Teams, you will need to create a public MS Teams webhook for each of your MS Teams team and channels in which you wish to receive alerts and other notifications.
Create MS Teams Webhook for LabScale
- In the MS Teams application, select View more apps in menu column on the left, find and select the Workflows application.
- Once in the Workflows application, look for a card item labelled Send webhook alerts to a channel at the bottom, click on that card and a modal dialog will appear.
- In the Create a flow modal dialog, enter a desired name into the Flow name text field of the dialog, then click on the Next button. Wait for the next dialog screen, it may take some time.
- Select the MS Teams Team and Channel you wish to send notifications to. Click on the Create a flow button. Wait for the next screen of the dialog to appear, it may take some time.
- If the webhook was added successfully, there will now be a text field with the webhook URL in it, copy this URL.
Note
When adding a new MS Teams channel, do not select Private as a type of channel else you may encounter access restrictions that prevent LabScale from sending notifications.
Add MS Teams Webhook to Notifiactions in LabScale
- Go to your LabScale application dashboard and navigate to Admin > Notifications.
- Click on the Add Slack Webhook Notification button.
- Paste the Webhook URL you copied from earlier, and enter the workspace and channel name, then click Submit.
