Your privacy is important to us, and this privacy notice describes how LabScale Technologies, Inc. (“LabScale” or “we”) collects, uses, and shares the information that you provide through our website/service. LabScale collects information that you provide directly to us through the website/service (“Services”), such as your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide when you create an account through our Services or when you contact us. We use this information to provide you with the Services you request and to communicate with you about our Services. If you provide us with any payment information, such information will be processed through a third-party service, and your financial information will not be stored on our systems.

LabScale uses your information to provide you with the Services and to communicate with you; to better understand how our Services are functioning and ways to improve our Services. We may share your information with service providers who support the Services, with successors in interest in the event of a change of control of our company such as a merger, or with law enforcement or as otherwise required by applicable laws or per any court order. We may also transfer aggregated and de-identified information which does not identify you individually. LabScale does not sell or rent your Personal Information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Data Retention

LabScale will retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide you with the Services you request or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or on our backup systems. To the extent permissible under applicable laws, you agree that we cannot be responsible for any data that is stored or collected by third parties.

Security

LabScale takes security of data very seriously. LabScale takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. These measures take into account the sensitivity of the information we collect, process and store, and the current state of technology. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the information that you provide to us. LabScale cannot guarantee that information transmitted through the internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others. When you click a link to a third-party site, you will be leaving our site and we don’t control or endorse what is on third-party sites.

International Data Transfer

LabScale is based in the United States of America, State of California (“USA/CA”), and the information that we collect from you may be transferred to and processed in countries other than USA/CA. By using the website or Service, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to countries outside of USA/CA.

Your Rights

You can correct or change your account information at any time by emailing us at: contact@labscale.com. If you are no longer using the Services, we may keep certain information as necessary on our backup systems, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or as legally required. Our Services are not necessarily designed to respond to web browser “do not track” signals.

California Privacy Rights (CPRA)

This section applies to California residents and describes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

In the past twelve (12) months, LabScale has collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, company name, username, IP address, and other similar identifiers.
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as job title, business contact information, and organization affiliation.
  • Internet or network activity information, such as log files, usage data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Services.
  • Customer support and communications, including information provided in support requests or other communications.
  • Account credentials, such as usernames and authentication information.

LabScale does not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

If we process personal information on behalf of a business customer as a service provider, requests related to such data should be directed to the relevant customer.

Changes to This Privacy Agreement

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after an update indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Notice.
